Health: 5 (from a base of 3) Composure: 4 (from a base of 3) PhasesPhase One: Early Life D.L. was an easygoing small town guy, popular with most folks (guys and gals). He was also a bit of a gearhead and worked in his uncle's machine shop as a kid. Aspects: One of the guys. "I can probably get it running..." Phase Two: The Great War As a not-so-successful barnstormer, DL was recruited into the war effort for the Brits as a cargo flier. He later flew for the U.S., as well as 'special assignments' involving transport of important dignitaries... Aspects: "Because it's my plane.", "This is going to get interesting." Phase Three (novel): DL Curtiss and the Black Opal of Singapore Hauling freight in the south Pacific, DL runs afoul of the crimelords of Singapore when he tries to help an innocent-looking girl with a dark secret... specifically the stolen property of Luk Sim. Aspects: Sucker for a Pretty Face, "I call this move a 'punch'." Phase Four (guest starring in): Rami Samiti and the Doubtful Double During Rami's investigation, he was put in touch, through the Century Club, with "DL," an easy-going American expatriate who seems to know everyone in town and helps him follow a trail of clues that lead to a number of unsavory places. Aspects: "Hey, buddy...", "Depends on how you look at it." Phase Five (guest starring in): Amanita Grey & the Deadly Deceit Once again, DL finds himself helping out a woman in distress. This time, however, the help is warranted, as Amanita Grey and Rami Samiti have found out about a deadly plot involving netherite and the grey men. Aspects: Soft-hearted, "Grey men - I hate these guys." |
