This pair of identical twin brothers were first seen in the movie Serenity and seem to fill the same niche on Beaumonde which Badger does on Persephone; that is, they are small-time crooks who act as middle-men, occasionally pointing the crew of the Serenity(and presumably others, as well)to jobs, then taking a cut of the profits.

Judging by their accents, it seems possible that Fanty and Mingo(again, like Badger)may originally be from Dyton Colony.
