-_-A brief Errata sheet for the current Pulp Adventures Character Generation Document
(to hold you over until the next iteration of the document comes out)
-_-

Skills:

New Skill: Demolitions (INT)
Trained Only Use this skill to create and set explosive devices for maximum impact.
Check: Setting a simple explosive to blow up at either a certain spot doesn't require a check (or this skill), but any attempt to built and explosive device or set an explosive to go off a certain time or with a specific effect does.
Applications: Set Explosive Device, Build Explosive Device from Scratch

Demolitions is a class-skill for the Soldier and Scientist class, cross-class for all others.

Cross class skills for the multi-classed: or Once a Scientist, always a Scientist
Actually, this isn't a new rule, but it is one that I think people have sometimes missed in the chargen documents: once you have taken a class, the class-skills for that class REMAIN class-skills for your character, even if you later advance a level as a different class with a different set of class skills.  Example:  If you were a Soldier at 1st-level, and at second level you multiclass as an Explorer, but you'd like to continue to spend some points on Demolitions, you still pay for the skill as though it were a class skill.

(Note that if you paid cross-class costs for a skill and it LATER becomes a class skill for your character, the reduced cost of the skill is NOT RETROACTIVE.)

Classes

The character class "Private Eye" will simply be called the "Investigator" in future releases of character generation.

Scientists gain one 'free' invention at 1st level, and again at each additional level in which they gain access to a new level of Discovery (I.E.: 4th level, 6th, 8th, etc.).  Inventions created in addition to these bonus inventions still follow current guidelines in the Scientist class section (ignoring concerns for time spent on the invention - a restriction that will be be removed in the next release in any case).  The bonus invention is in all other ways identical to a normal invention and still requires an Invention Cert as documentation (available from Pulp Metagaming or via GM-signed cert at the end of a module during which your character gained the appropriate level).
