Isadora - can one make a home out of bits and pieces of different civilizations? How much of one's own customs does one have to give up to do so?

  • Amestris asks for amnesty for Archelaus, noting that he may be useful in the quest.
  • Quest Bangs:
    • Isadora's past raises a question of honor that the spirits of the ruined city want answered before they allow her to play the part of their leader in the ritual past.
    • Egani's cat attacks Isadora, being manipulated by the Sorcerer.
    • Fahd (or Belnif, or Peter's character) figurs out that the Goblin demon king wants to co-opt the spirits for himself. If she gives the spirits over to the Goblin king, he will raise Sebastian from the dead.
    • Elahra, having learned from Marvars of the plot to decieve the Ulizzi's appears in the quest with the aid of Aysha, and threatens that she has an agent in place (another disgruntled Andaras cultist) who can deliver this secret if she's not set free.
    • The Rhiani kick out Gennadi for theft, and Geera with him.
    • Pallos' spirit asks for Narbin's for revenge.
    • Fahd asks her to place her soldiery on the lower temple steps - he says it's better for the quest, but it also means less honor for them if there's a victory.
    • An echo through time and space of another ritual breaking through is Fazeris marrying his sister. The connection occurs because Fazeris is thinking of Isadora and not Leuta. Does this distract her from her task?

Okhfels - Where is home? What price would you pay to free your people? At what point does the sacrifice made make the gesture meaningless? Can strength alone substitute for relationships - and if so how?

  • The Troll Shaman wants to go along.
  • Quest bangs:
    • Beliria asks for a position in the New World Order - to be sealed in the quest.
    • Offered kingship over a restored Teth if he abandons Isadora, by an agent of the White Wood who arrives riding Hilda.
    • Drum has problem with Aaron, and wants the Brotherhood expelled from the proceedings.
    • Has a chance to show off his strength against a horse spirit (harm to which may anger the Rhiani).
    • Sees a vision of "Bird" as a human (recognizes him telepathically) that shows Bird doing unethical stuff.
    • Elle tags along, and, due to her desire for Okhfels becomes possessed by the Woman in Black Armor, and she then proceeds to try to interfere
    • Marklaus calls on Okhfels to kill Beliria.
    • See Elahra bang above.
    • Aysha appears, and offers to help, wanting honestly to be free of the sorcerer.
    • Discovery that somebody must play the role of Terian's assistant-lover. Fahd, unassigned, feels it's his duty to step in as Isadora's spirtual protector.
    • Early stage has echos that suggest that he will do better if he acts very barbarically (does he care how Isadora thinks about him doing this)?
    • Ask Fred about Old Man Spider.

Egani - Where is home now? Can one make a home with dead things (even if they get out of hand)?

  • Isadora's mother, thinking that Egani is some sort of civilized sort, contacts him magically (maybe through Archelaus), to ask him to report on Isadora.
  • Quest Bangs
    • The Rhiani ask that Egani give up Archelaus.
    • The White Wood calls to Marcia, again, and this causes damage which makes her nature apparent to the Rhiani.
    • Marcia gives birth.
    • The Troll Shaman, who is a friend of Rhosiar's, wants Egani to make a drum from the giant serpent skin that he has.
    • The Navigators come for Egani, interrupting the quest. They want Isadora to give him over, or they'll try to thwart the quest. They discover Marcia's nature, however, and decide that they will call things off if everyone hands over Marcia.
    • If, somehow, Egani is not given over, then the other navigators proceed to tell him that his way home has been paid for, his family having gotten money from Count Phorik to get him back. Egani alone, however, not Marcia. Egani may sense that the A'kesh order helped.
    • Hilda the donkey returns, carrying the agent above. She's been corrupted by the Gogur.
    • The Two Tree spirits want Egani to sacrifice the Blade of the Planes, to open a channel between them and the new spirits.

Lana - On the run, friend dead, and having assaulted Isadora, where is home now?

  • Fadh comes to Lana, and tells her that he can bring her back if she gives up either her memory of Sebastian, or her

Archelaus - Can you escape a dark past with new revelations? Or will your dark past always catch up with you? If it does, what steps would you take to deal with it?

Currently not played, bangs reassigned.

Alexander's "Bird"

  • Okhfels and the magic items.

Elkaru - given "interesting times" can one remain jovially detached from it all? Is fleeing from mad husbands all the time really a lifestyle?

  • He's asked to join the Rhiani Hero Band.
  • Enemies arrive - the same tribe that's after Okhfels.
  • Old flame arrives.
  • Opening to hit Elahra. Shahnsa calls out.
  • Inis asks for him to desecrate the two-tree shrine, and start recruiting (perhaps this is a mission from Fahja). Or steal a lock of Isadora's hair.
  • Single woman hits on him. A gift from Inis?

Haikain - Can the whole world be a home?

Heroquest trappings

  • Okhfels has a chance to try to read runes to help some stations, and to use his knowledge of history.
  • Gogur attack (giving him his edge).

Forge of Tethior - a prophecy is chiseled into a nearby stone face (which appears to have had more than one attempt to deface it). The forge is defunct, but could be reactivated by somebody who can infuse it with a new source of essence.

Prophecy: Forces within and forces without Will cause the city to fall The faithful of Kuor Will then pay penance And wander the heights For an age

One people will become three In the land of the tall spires But the most faithful of all Will take a hall from a serpent A hall where Tethium Again will be made

They will bide their time In that hall of stone Until an enemy besets them Then these shall return To the city once lost And raise it anew

And Tethium will Once again Be the source Of their strength

  • The symbols of the written prophecy are such that it's clear that they can be used by one who knows them to divine the location of the hall, Tethium forges, and the city, etc.
