The majestic spirit Bloodhoof is seen as something like a centaur, half-man, half-horse, but isn't a centaur at all. Instead he's a representation of the fusion of horse and man that the Rhiani embody. He usually seems on the verge of violence, as though he's just returned from a bloody battle in which his hooves were covered in gore.
