Rumours about his current whereabouts or nasty end abound, although malicious tongues claim Olfar simply ran away to escape his bossy wife. As far as Terrike is concerned her father is simply the greatest of raiders and leaders of men, the heartiest of drinkers, and the loudest of tellers of tales. She's certain Olfar knew the secret of binding a ship to one's will, and was kidnapped by greedy southern seafarers because of that.

Olfar was last seen swaggering down the gangplank of his longboat and disappearing into the docks of the City Of Kaitaine, destination and purpose unknown. Olfar has a sea turtle tattooed on his chest.
