  • [20:27:24] * Isadora arrives back at her tent, throws back a drink, and sends for Sebastian.
  • [20:29:23] Sebastian: Sebastian knocks diffidently on Isadora's tent pole when he arrives.
  • [20:30:30] Isadora: "Get in here," Isadora calls, pausing in her pacing to wave him in. "I hope things have been saner on dry land than they were on the island."
  • [20:31:44] Sebastian: Sebastian enters a bit hesitantly. He hasn't seen much of Isadora since the... incident, and he seems a bit unsure of the status of their relationship. "You sent for my, my lady?"
  • [20:33:20] Isadora: "Of course I did. Surely you haven't gotten the idea I can run this madhouse operation by myself?" Isadora doesn't seem to notice the possibility of awkwardness.
  • [20:35:01] Sebastian: Sebastian smiles, only slightly awkwardly this time, "You are far more formidable than you care to admit, my Lady. How may I serve you today?"
  • [20:37:48] Isadora: "Damn right I'm formidable," she says, pouring herself another drink. "You can start by telling me if all of the Ikaiti left on that airship like they were supposed to."
  • [20:39:14] Sebastian: Sebastian tilts his head and thinks for a moment...
  • [20:41:56] Sebastian: "I believe that the only Ikaiti who embarked on the airship was your esteemed mother. To the best of my knowledge your sister and Fazheris are both still in the colony somewhere, I could find out where if you like."
  • [20:42:40] * Isadora nods. "Find out, I'll need to know eventually... just as soon as this whole temple business blows over."
  • [20:43:39] Sebastian: An awkward silence extends between Isadora and Sebastian.
  • [20:45:14] Isadora: "So... you heard about all that, right?"
  • [20:45:32] * Isadora studies something on her desk that wasn't so important a minute ago.
  • [20:46:38] Sebastian: Sebastian looks a bit startled by the break in the silence. "All what, my lady? I am sad to say that most of my recent time has been spent averting general rioting and specific murder among the Rhianni camp, so I have not really been paying as much attention as I should have been to events on the new real estate."
  • [20:47:18] * Isadora looks up sharply. "Rioting and murder? Do tell."
  • [20:49:56] Sebastian: Sebastian looks away from Isadora, uncharacteristically failing to meet her eyes. "There was a bit of a to-do over the Speckler problem. Then some accusations of collusion got thrown around. I ended up resolving things by agreeing to turn Spckler over to the tribe for judgement. Which reminds me, I really do need to make sure that will not be a problem. It won't, will it?"
  • [20:51:08] Isadora: "No, I was thinking about doing it anyway. I'll just need to make an announcement, so everyone understands why it was done. Anyone who can't handle living next to Rhiani should have gone home on that airship."
  • [20:51:27] Isadora: "...Collusion, you said?"
  • [20:51:36] Isadora: "You're talking about young Tamul, I assume?"
  • [20:52:15] Sebastian: Sebastian looks really uncomfortable at this point, "Um... not precisely, my lady... It seems that someone decided that accusing me of being Speckler's partner in crime would be a good idea..."
  • [20:53:11] Isadora: "Annnnnd...?" Isadora finally takes a seat and looks at him, the picture of attentiveness.
  • [20:54:43] Sebastian: Sebastian looks down at his hands, "I, uh, took care of it. And, um, the Rhianni council decided that I merited a place as a member of the tribe. And," he sighs, "Now I have to figure out what to do with Elahra."
  • [20:55:52] Isadora: "Sounds like the Rhiani council has a lot to answer for," Isadora says, with a smirk that vanishes quickly in case he looks up.
  • [20:57:50] Sebastian: Sebastian stands silently for a moment, then his eyes dart to Isadora, "And what, precisely, did I miss on the island while this was going on?"
  • [21:00:53] Isadora: Now it's Isadora's turn to look shifty-eyed. "Not... much. Archelaus seems to have come back to us as a scorpion, and he tried to steal some gems but Okhfels started pulling off his tail and he left." After a brief pause, she adds, "And we need to do something about the temple."
  • [21:02:28] Sebastian: Sebastian's eyes narrow, "My lady, while your business is your own, and you have no obligation to share it with me, I like to think that my assistance is useful. What is it that you are not telling me? I sense that it is important..." He trails off, clearly leaving Isadora the option to not answer.
  • [21:03:48] Isadora: "Nothing," Isadora says shortly, setting her glass down with a thump. "It's nothing. Stupid. Only... are you religious, Sebastian?"
  • [21:06:27] Sebastian: Sebastian's eyes widen slightly, "I am not quite sure what you are asking, my lady? I have had some... difficulties... with the local cult of Andras you might recall."
  • [21:09:02] Isadora: "I'm just asking, all right?" She seems a little testy. "I didn't think you were involved with the cult beyond killing their harridan priestess and taking back your woman."
  • [21:11:54] Sebastian: Sebastian restrains himself from admitting that Laura is more than "his woman". "Yes, well, it got more complicated than that... but that's neither here nor there. No, I do not tend to consider myself very religious."
  • [21:12:50] Isadora: "Which makes sense, because that would be absurd, right? Coming out here and picking up some bush religion."
  • [21:13:31] Mholmes: There is a knock on the post. It occurs to Isadora that somebody set the post back up without her permission.
  • [21:13:49] Sebastian: Sebastian laughs softly, "Ah... So that is what has you so stressed. You have had a genuine--" He turns to the tent entrance.
  • [21:14:38] Sebastian: Sebastian peaks his head outside to see who has disturbed his fruitful, if difficult, conversation.
  • [21:19:56] Mholmes: Jilliams smiles at Sebastian, "Hello. Okhfels sent me to inform Isadora that he's gone to the Rhiani camp. Something about confronting some blue bears or something?"
  • [21:23:23] Sebastian: Sebastian sighs quietly and pokes his head back inside, "My lady, as informative as this discussion has been, I'm afraid that there may be trouble with the Rhiani."
  • [21:23:38] Sebastian: Sebastian steps back and holds the tent flap open for Isadora.
  • [21:24:36] Isadora: "Can you be more specific?" Isadora asks, rising and striding towards the door. She's almost grateful for the interruption.
  • [21:26:21] Sebastian: Sebastian shoots Isadora a "We'll pick this up later" look. "I believe that one of the other Rhiani tribes is here, and there's a good chance that they want custody of Okhfels."
  • [21:28:30] Isadora: "Custody? Tell me." She shoots a hard inquiring look at Jilliams, too.
  • [21:30:04] Mholmes: Jilliams shrugs, "I suppose there's some legal problem?"
  • [21:30:08] Sebastian: Sebastian shakes his head as he moves toward the Rhiani camp, "Unfortunately I do not know much more than that. There's some history between Okhfels and this other tribe, but I have yet to learn what it is."
  • [21:32:51] Isadora: "I'm sorry," she says, walking quickly with Sebastian, "But did you just say you didn't know something in this camp?"
  • [21:34:28] Sebastian: Sebastian's pace increases angrily. "My lady, I hate to sound critical, but in recent days I have found that there has been a sort of conspiracy of silence against me. No one has told me what is going on, and with no one keeping me abreast of events, well, my usefulness has been hampered."
  • [21:34:38] Sebastian: Sebastian glares at Isadora accusingly.
  • [21:36:00] Isadora: "What are you talking about? We've all been running around crazy since the island rose. It was a joke, damn it." She sounds defensive.
  • [21:39:53] Sebastian: Sebastian glances at Isadora briefly, "If it were that simple, my lady, I would understand. There is more to it though, and I wish we could just have it out. That, or simply agree that we will never have it out..."
  • [21:41:34] * Isadora glares at him. "Have what out? What could you possibly want to know about my life that isn't plain as day?" She seems genuinely confused.

  • [20:41:55] Mholmes: Egani stands over the body of Archelaus, now fitted with the brain from the elf's corpse. Things look to be in quite exceptional readiness to get Archelaus' soul back into the corpse and revivify it.
  • [20:44:57] * Egani attempts to find the soul of Archelaus -- grimoire opened, with the soul finding spell mid-cast, Tehu and Aaron go to search for the scorpion on the temple, aiding the task.
  • [21:14:50] Mholmes: But, alas, the spell cannot find the sould of Archelaus, despite it not being far off. It would seem that there is interference from the island and it's connection to the Spirit World.
  • [21:16:52] Egani: Sighing, Egani takes the unusual precaution of locking the door to the workshop before setting out for the island to find Archie in person.

  • [21:17:34] Mholmes: A bit later on the island, Egani pulls his boat up on the shore.
  • [21:18:33] * Egani meets with the guards on the island to find out where the scorpion was last seen.
  • [21:20:15] Egani: After assessing the situation, Egani circles the temple looking for a place to climb.
  • [21:31:09] Mholmes: Climbing up, Egani is not quite as deft as he may have been in his youth. In making his way up, he makes quite a racket at several points, knocking stones down, to prevent himself from falling off.
  • [21:31:28] Mholmes: Soon two guards are below, "Hey, Okhfels says nobody in the temple!"
  • [21:31:44] * Egani waves.
  • [21:31:59] Mholmes: "Come down here!"
  • [21:33:53] Mholmes: Archelaus notes the ruckus below, and sees Egani not far off with his arachnid vision.
  • [21:33:53] Egani: "I'm looking for the scorpion...I'll just be a minute."
  • [21:35:46] Mholmes: Archelaus, having been in the scorpion too long, is starting to feel some of it's urges. Sting Egani, have him for lunch...
  • [21:37:38] Arch-Scorpion: The scorpion skitters closer to Egani, who is reflected in the thing's many eyes.
  • [21:39:46] Egani: Hearing the chitonous clinking of Archelaus' ungulae, Egani looks up and talks to him. "Archelaus. I have your body, back in my workshop. I've done what I can to save it. If you want to re-establish ownership of it, you need to find a way to get over there -- physically or spiritually. If you need to swap places with me long enough to get over there, you can. Do you understand me?"
  • [21:42:03] * Arch-Scorpion edges closer to Egani, its tail raised high above its head.
  • [21:42:47] * Egani seems to finally realize that he might be in danger. His fingers stray to his essence harvesting talisman.
  • [21:44:43] * Arch-Scorpion steps pracariously close to the edge of the roof, looks down on the soldiers, then back at Egani.
  • [21:45:02] Egani: "You do understand?"
  • [21:45:03] Arch-Scorpion: Then Archelaus Soul flows out through the thing's tail...
  • [22:01:42] Mholmes: For a moment, Egani thinks that Archelaus' spark is headed for his body. But instead it goes down the side of the temple to where Aaron waits below. And the exchange is complete.
  • [22:02:55] * Egani looks down then back up to the scorpion. "Be careful. We'll be back." Then he climbs down.

  • [22:08:36] Egani: Egani unlocks the doors and leads Archie/Aaron in to view is old body with a bandaged head and neck.
  • [22:12:57] * Archelaus seems to skitter up to the workbench, then runs his hands across his 'real' face
  • [22:16:18] Archelaus: He has yet to say anything since coming from the island, and doesn't start now. Instead, he leans over, places Aaron's mouth over that of the corpse and breaths out, and in, his soul.
  • [22:20:50] * Egani watching carefully, lays down a spell to hold the soul in place long enough for it to become reacquainted with it's proper home.
  • [22:48:32] Egani: As the soul swings into the body and Egani's magic locks it in place, the body shudders and gasps a wrenching inhalation. Archelaus' hands grab at his bandaged head as a piteous whine escapes his throat.
  • [22:49:37] Mholmes: Archelaus's first sight as he looks up is something black flying overhead....

  • [20:54:51] Mholmes: Ahndren, one of the Rhiani who follow Okhfels, comes to him one evening as the sun dips down behind the White Wood and the trees cast their impossibly long shadows over the island. He obviously has come from across the lake in a hurry in one of the craft. He's huffing for breath.
  • [20:55:29] Okhfels: Okhfels greets him.
  • [20:55:41] Okhfels: "What news, Ahndren?"
  • [20:56:49] Mholmes: Ahndren straightens up and speaks despite not being quite ready, "The Blue Bear. They make Parley with the elders."
  • [20:57:48] Okhfels: "Hm. How many?"
  • [20:59:51] Okhfels: Okhfels has given orders to the men, to watch the Scorpion and be ready to defend themselves from it if it should attack or move to enter the Temple, but otherwise let it be. He figures Archelaus will tire of inhabiting it before long.
  • [21:01:18] Mholmes: "For the moment its' just an emmisary with ten men. But the tribe is not far off. They travel with about 200 all told," relates Ahndren.
  • [21:01:27] Mholmes: "I think..."
  • [21:01:36] Okhfels: "Then I'll go to them. Maybe they'll tell me why they want to kill me so badly."
  • [21:01:57] Mholmes: "I think that's why they're here, actually," he says.
  • [21:02:38] Okhfels: Okhfels nods. He knows better than to tell his men that he already knows something they're telling him.
  • [21:02:53] Okhfels: Okhfels takes one of the watercraft back to shore.
  • [21:12:54] Mholmes: Okhfels comes into the hunter's circle and sees Dhazari there. The hunter stands and greets him, "Okhfels, greetings. There are men here from another tribe, and they are asking for you."
  • [21:14:42] Okhfels: "Blue Bear? Good. I want to talk to them, too."
  • [21:16:37] Mholmes: Dhazari nods and leads the way. Moments later in the elder's circle, a man dressed in a blue bearskin is notified of Okhfels arrival and turns to point at him, "That's the one. He's the one that Granok said slew our men. Why do you consort with these foreigners, Moorak?"
  • [21:17:34] Okhfels: Okhfels enters and just crosses his massive arms over his chest.
  • [21:18:52] Mholmes: Moorak says slowly, "The large one has done us no harm. In fact, he knows some of our spirits."
  • [21:19:18] Okhfels: Okhfels regards the Blue Bear tribesman coolly.
  • [21:22:10] Mholmes: "So, we are not brothers, we tribes of the Rhiani? As long as one does no harm to one tribe, harm to another is not taken to heart?" the bearman rants at Moorak.
  • [21:23:52] Mholmes: Moorak replies, "He is large enough to speak for his own acts. He is not mine to do with what I wish."
  • [21:24:16] Mholmes: "So he is not under the protection of your tribe, Moorak?"
  • [21:24:41] Mholmes: Moorak looks to Okhfels, "Do you seek the protection of the tribe, Okhfels?"
  • [21:25:39] Okhfels: Okhfels considers.
  • [21:26:11] Mholmes: Moorak's face is, as always, a mask of complete emotionlessness. As if at his age, he's already felt them all and is done with them.
  • [21:26:12] Okhfels: "I serve Isadora."
  • [21:27:05] Mholmes: Moorak nods, "You should seek those in the colony to deal with this one. We have not done anything dishonorable."
  • [21:27:20] Mholmes: The bearman growls.
  • [21:27:43] Mholmes: "Where is this Isadora? Will I have to fight him?"
  • [21:28:08] Okhfels: "You'll have to fight me first. Why do you go to other people, when you are angry with me?"
  • [21:29:07] Mholmes: "I follow the code of honor," says Bearman. "You have no tribe? No forms to follow?"
  • [21:29:12] Mholmes: He sneers derisively.
  • [21:30:37] Okhfels: "I had no tribe until I came here. Now I serve Isadora. And yes... I'm a filthy stranger from far away. So feel free to test yourself against me." He cracks his knuckles.
  • [21:33:19] Mholmes: "You have no tribe? Then why should I dirty myself upon you? Perhaps we should feather you with arrows as we do the deer, and even the bear?" says the Rhiani, his long black hair coming down from under the blue fur.
  • [21:34:07] Okhfels: Okhfels reaches down, picks up a coal from the fire, and eats it.
  • [21:34:17] Okhfels: "Because this bear shoots back."
  • [21:37:21] Mholmes: For a moment, Okhfels thinks that the man seeing him standing impervious before the fire will simply back down. But then he stiffens his resolve. "Are you challenging me?"
  • [21:38:15] Okhfels: "I don't pick fights with people. I finish them. Like I said... I shoot BACK."
  • [21:40:26] Mholmes: "So...Moorak, there's no reason we shouldn't just cut this cur down that I can see. Would you mind if I shed blood in your circle?" he says in a nasty tone.
  • [21:40:56] Mholmes: Several of the Blue Bear men there seem to be reaching for their chegains.
  • [21:41:55] Okhfels: Okhfels moves to the center of the circle, so that if they throw and miss, they'll wreak havoc in the circle.
  • [21:42:16] Mholmes: Many of the Rhiani look like they're about to look for cover.
  • [21:44:30] Sebastian: Sebastian comes to a sudden stop next to Isadora just outside the circle. "My lady, you _stabbed_ me and then left me bleeding on the floor. I think that's a significant event in our relationship."
  • [21:45:47] Isadora: "You had that COMING," Isadora snaps at him as if it's perfectly obvious, then faces the circle head-on and barks, "What in the hell is going on here?"
  • [21:46:17] Isadora: "Anyway, I sent for the doctor," she mutters out the side of her mouth at Sebastian as an afterthought.
  • [21:46:50] Mholmes: The Rhiani all look at this interruption with wide eyes.
  • [21:47:00] Mholmes: Moorak says, "Sebastian?"
  • [21:48:15] Sebastian: Sebastian turns to the circle and gives a little bow. "We were told that the Blue Bear were here looking for Okhfels."
  • [21:48:57] Mholmes: "That is truth," says Moorak simply. The situation seems obvious now that Sebastian and Isadora look about the circle, with Okhfels in the middle.
  • [21:49:03] Okhfels: Okhfels turns to Isadora. He smiles a half smile that expresses the mixed feelings of being glad to have support but dismayed to need it.
  • [21:50:39] Isadora: "Not that Okhfels can't sort this out by himself, but speaking as his employer, you can see my interest," Isadora says with exaggerated casualness. "What does the Blue Bear want with Okhfels?"
  • [21:52:17] Mholmes: Looking to Moorak first to see that it's OK to speak, the man with the blue bear pelt on turns back to Isadora, "He was part of a band that slew many of our men. Is he part of your tribe?"
  • [21:53:45] Isadora: "He works for me, which among my people means that I answer for his deeds. And yet for some reason, you didn't head my way when you arrived." Isadora steps forward, into the circle.
  • [21:55:36] Sebastian: Sebastian reaches out to place a restraining hand on Isadora's shoulder, but thinks better of it and touches the hand to his chest instead. His eyes flash sadly.
  • [21:59:03] Mholmes: Blue Bear says, "I thought that this was Moorak's territory. We know nothing of your ways. I assumed you were under his protection. But I see that you are...a tribe?"
  • [22:00:11] Isadora: "We're... neighbors. Independent groups."
  • [22:01:13] Okhfels: Okhfels has the calm determined look that comes over him before battle.
  • [22:02:52] Mholmes: The man in the bearskin frowns. "I don't know what this means. Do I ask you for justice against this man? Or do I just take it upon him? If I kill him will my tribe be at war with yours?"
  • [22:03:45] Okhfels: "Justice for what? Death in battle?"
  • [22:03:51] Isadora: "You're damn right we'll be at war," Isadora answers promptly. "So why don't you explain a little more before committing to that course?"
  • [22:04:21] Mholmes: "He killed our people. His life is forfiet to us," says the bear man.
  • [22:04:53] * Isadora is beginning to remember why Kaitaine went mercantile.
  • [22:05:10] Mholmes: "Or do your people simply get away with killing each other?"
  • [22:05:41] Okhfels: "Your people killed mine. Shall we put the dead on scales, or will it be enough to count them up?"
  • [22:09:05] Mholmes: "No, your dead body, as the only survivor, will settle the score for me. My brother was amongst those killed!" he says.
  • [22:10:22] Isadora: "When I arrived," interjects Isadora, "it rather looked like all of you versus Okhfels. Is that the Blue Bear handles justice?"
  • [22:10:50] Sebastian: Sebastian turns to Moorak, "I am new among your people, is this sort of demand common?"
  • [22:11:37] Okhfels: Okhfels wonders how he can be a survivor and a dead body at the same time.
  • [22:12:00] Mholmes: Moorak says, "Demand? To avenge the dead? Too common."
  • [22:13:09] Sebastian: Sebastian feigns mild confusion, "Even if the death occurs in battle? That sounds as if it could get incredibly messy."
  • [22:13:55] Mholmes: Moorak's eyebrow goes up slightly, but then he shrugs.
  • [22:14:18] Mholmes: "So what do you want for this one?" says blue bear to Isadora.
  • [22:15:37] Mholmes: He seems to be losing patience
  • [22:16:06] Isadora: "Want? We're bartering, now? What's the going rate among Rhiani for a life? Because in Kaitaine, it's quite expensive, I assure you."
  • [22:16:20] Sebastian: Sebastian speaks quietly, "My lady, if I might make a suggestion...?"
  • [22:16:44] Mholmes: "I'll give you five horses for him!" says the blue bear leader, interrupting.
  • [22:17:49] Isadora: "Please," Isadora murmurs to Sebastian.
  • [22:18:29] Mholmes: "Six!"
  • [22:19:03] Mholmes: "Half stallions!" he seeths with hatred.
  • [22:19:11] Sebastian: Sebastian glances dangerously at the Rhiani, "I suggest that this man be allowed to face Okhfels in combat. I believe that the debt may be satisfied in that way. Assuming that Okhfels does not object."
  • [22:20:07] Mholmes: "Is that your way? If so, why did you not say so?" says the man. "If that's what it takes to avoid war, I'll take that challenge."
  • [22:21:02] Isadora: "If Okhfels wishes the challenge, it's his--otherwise, I'll fight you myself," says Isadora. "If your brother was only worth six horses, it won't be much of a fight."
  • [22:21:34] Okhfels: Okhfels says, sharply, "No! No... no, I'll take the challenge."
  • [22:22:07] Mholmes: Just at that moment, Jilliams, who had hung back to talk to some of the soldiers, comes rushing into the circle. He performs an obesiance to Moorak (and at this point Sebastian and Isadora really see how enculturated Jilliams has become), turns to Isadora and says, "There's a cloud of black flying things headed this way!"
  • [22:24:16] Mholmes: Turning to look, indeed, against the light of the red moon in the southern sky, there are nasty looking black things flying in a mass coming in the direction of the lake.
  • [22:24:31] Sebastian: Sebastian throws up his hands, "Damn it!" Isadora realizes that she's never heard Sebastian swear before. Sebastian gestures at Okhfels and the Blue Bear, "Do this. Now. I don't want to have to deal with it later."
  • [22:25:10] Mholmes: There is a commotion as a rider charges into the circle, looking back up at the sky. His horse seems spent.
  • [22:25:10] Okhfels: Okhfels looks to Isadora.
  • [22:25:46] Mholmes: Sebastian sees that the rider is the northerner who was in camp a few days back.
  • [22:27:30] * Tirsir body bears several shallow wounds, as though he had been in a running battle.
  • [22:28:26] Sebastian: Sebastian snaps at Okhfels, "Now, man! Deal with this!"
  • [22:31:07] * Isadora strides over to the rider and looks up at him, assuming Okhfels and the Blue Bear will sort things out behind her. "What's all this, then?"
  • [22:31:29] Okhfels: Okhfels makes a frustrated sound and throws a lightning-fast punch at the Riani chieftain's nose.
  • [22:31:35] * Tirsir is breathing heavily.
  • [22:32:19] Tirsir: "Demons - followed. Barely - escaped. Must - prepair."
  • [22:34:34] Isadora: "Charming," Isadora says to the sky. "And what's your name, O great bringer of demons? I'm Isadora, and I have the distinct displeasure of being in charge of the Kaitaine side of things. Unless these are Rhiani-only-eating demons, you're half my problem."
  • [22:35:20] * Tirsir closes his eyes for a few moments, and his breathing slows.
  • [22:36:08] Tirsir: "I am called Tirsir, lady."
  • [22:36:41] * Tirsir nods his head respectfully to Isadora.
  • [22:36:51] Isadora: "Form up the men, and send Fahd this way if you see him!" Isadora calls to Jilliams.
  • [22:38:15] Isadora: "Pleasure to meet you, Tirsir, at least by the standards of the last week. What can you tell me about the demons?"
  • [22:39:56] Mholmes: The chieftain is momentarily distracted by seething at Isadora as Okhfels fist lands sending the chieftain down to the ground. Moments later the bear skinned one cries out in pain as embers land on his face, one burning down to the skull before he can get it off.
  • [22:40:02] Mholmes: Pandemonium breaks out.
  • [22:40:14] Tirsir: "I was traveling south, seeking a friend of mine, on the advice of a wench named Aysha."
  • [22:40:17] Mholmes: Rhiani are heading for weapons and horses.
  • [22:40:55] Mholmes: The other Blue Bear tribesmen are trying to get their man out of the circle, being pretty well incapacitated.
  • [22:41:52] Isadora: "That was your first mistake," Isadora says. "But go on." She glances behind her at the commotion, seeming unsurprised at the result.
  • [22:42:30] Mholmes: Dhazari calls for his men to assemble as the warriors of Cay try to organize themselves. Dhazari says to Okhfels, "Your drum, I think? It should be sounded?"
  • [22:42:49] Okhfels: Okhfels nods. "Yes... It will be."
  • [22:43:26] Okhfels: Okhfels hurries Sebastian and Isadora out of the circle. "We need to get back to the camp."
  • [22:43:54] Tirsir: "As I was traveling south, I encountered several of those /things/. I destroyed them easily enough."
  • [22:44:16] Sebastian: Sebastian calls Alexander over to him, "Go find Fahja, then Egani, and then, if you can, Archelaus. Send them to me. I have a sinking feeling that we're going to need their expertise on demonic dealings."
  • [22:44:17] Mholmes: The figures in the sky are still fairly far off, and they take forever to close. But that only lends them horror as it means they are large. Larger than men.
  • [22:44:41] Tirsir: "However, as you see, I have more than I can handle. I regret bringing them to your door.
  • [22:45:10] * Tirsir kneels before Isadora.
  • [22:45:32] * Isadora hesitates before following Okhfels, waiting to hear the rest of what Tirsir has to say.
  • [22:46:15] Tirsir: "Until they are defeated, my sword is yours to command, my lady. I do have some small skill in destroying them."
  • [22:47:55] Isadora: Riding in with demons on your tail is a bad start, but your manners are a nice change," Isadora says and claps Tirsir on the shoulder. "Unless you need to stay in the Rhiani camp, come on. Your sword is welcome"
  • [22:48:31] * Tirsir rises, and follows Isadora.
