(prounounced 'WHEE-a') Goddess of sweat... this is not just the sweat of heat, but the sweat of stress and fear, and the sweat of labor. She's mostly friendly, but in her incarnation of fear, the 'cold sweat', she can steal a man's courage and leave him vulnerable. She's most associated with the home and its keeping, with the kinds of work that don't involve iron or coal, but she is also the goddess most associated with sexuality in the Tethian pantheon. In her sexual aspect, she is the goddess of the marriage bed.

Items dedicated to her are usually made of amber. She's commonly depicted with some form of sheep, either wearing a sheepskin or accompanied by a ewe.

Worship of Whea is an expression of feminine power in Tethite culture. Her priesthood is entirely female.

Whea's primary holy place is a small temple on the surface, built over a hot spring. The building is slick with condensation on any but the warmest, driest days, and the interior is as hot and humid as a sauna. This is not a place for public worship, but rather the goddess's metaphorical home. Only those priestesses who are specially dedicated and purified may enter, and even then the steam and heat prevent them from staying long. The rites practiced inside are known only to those few.
