Thank you for taking a moment to wander over to this page, and thank you for visiting the Hall of Mirrors in general, and Things in Heaven and Earth specifically. As you can see, we've put a great deal of effort and affection into the characters, this story, and these web pages, up to and including long hours spent committing logs to paper (thank you, Randy Trimmer), recording the verbal interplay (thank you, Jackie), religiously turning in character contributions (thank you EVERYONE), writing up the NAPNED -- New Amber Pattern Navy in Excrutiating Detail (Scott Herndon), and even developing a few new Powers and changing some of the old ones (me), which is stuff you can find out on the main Hall of Mirrors page, under the Partial Powers link.

Anyway, for whatever reason, we have fans: people who seem to enjoy coming back to these pages and seeing what new stuff we've put up since the last time. I'm not totally sure how or why it happened:

• One of my more cynical players says it's because so damn few Amber pages actually get updated more than once in a blue moon -- he cites Amber Links Pages with little 'New!' graphics next to links that have been up there for two years... I can't really argue with him.
• It may be because of all the pretty pictures, which I work pretty hard on.
• It's PROBABLY because of the all the great work that my players do to keep their character pages up to date with all the latest diaries, and the up-to-date Game Logs and Quotes.

The point is that we're happy about this. Proud, in fact, to be visited often, and more than happy to give people new things to check out for this, the best of all RPG's.

But we have a request: Please, talk to us.

I don't want to say we don't get email. We do, but normally I'm the only guy who does, and I'm only one small part of the whole: I forward what I can to my players, but I lose some of the messages, or I forget... or my players think I'm making it up... so give us a holler.

• Scott plays Ander, and created the write-up on the Amber Pattern Navy.
• Jackie plays Breann, and maintains the quote page.
• Dave runs Edward, the voice of Reason in what might otherwise be a heroic situation. :)
• Margie created Megan, and provides some of our much-loved humor.
• Rey pretends to control Theseus.
• Juli plays Lysander, and has provided us with fantastic original artwork.
• Finally, Randy plays Quinn and writes up the amazing Game Logs, without which we would be completely adrift.
• Oh, and I GM these maniacs.
