Shadow Description: Vmrtnz is a shadow with only one land mass: an island a little larger than Shadow Earth's Australia. In the middle of this island, there is a very large city. (Population: 1.2 million). The city is set up in sections. Around the city is a stretch of about thirty miles of farmland in every direction. A bubble of magical energy (no one is sure of the source) surrounds the city and farmlands, preventing entrance. Taking up the rest of the island is a gigantic living maze, apparently made of obsidian. A field similar to the one protecting the city also protects the maze.
The maze has a roof, thirty feet high, in all parts. There are four entrances into the maze and later, into the city: NE, NW, SE, SW. There is no magic protecting the entrance to the city upon completion of the maze (except from midnight to 1AM.) At the stoke of midnight every night, the walls all move to a different location. The magics at the entrances to the city from the maze, however, are mystically put in place during this time.
Each house and dwelling in Vmrtnz has an obsidian pantry. Every dawn, the food and water supply for each citizen is replenished. The shadow anticipates the people's needs. There is never drought or shortages of food and the like.
People here are very happy. The government is a monarchy. The ruler's title is "Prmt" (PROMT) and he is always the wisest and most creative of the land. If a person is found to better more suitable, the current king is peacably removed...usually he steps down. Return to Theseus' Main Page
