{"id":1108,"date":"2001-12-16T19:13:18","date_gmt":"2001-12-16T19:13:18","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/random-average.com\/?p=1108"},"modified":"2001-12-16T19:13:18","modified_gmt":"2001-12-16T19:13:18","slug":"game-tonight-4","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/randomaverage.com\/index.php\/2001\/12\/game-tonight-4\/","title":{"rendered":"Game Tonight"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Game tonight.  <a href=\"http:\/\/criticalmiss.com\/backissues\/issue1\/gmingwithnothing1.html\">I got Nothing<\/a>.<br \/>\n<i>Addendum: <\/i> Dave sent me something funny to cheer me up.<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"pvp20010807.gif\" src=\"http:\/\/www.average-bear.com\/archive\/pvp20010807.gif\" width=\"458\" height=\"599\" border=\"0\" \/><br \/>\nComments on the game and thoughts on the storyline:  tonight I&#8217;m using a module out of Star Wars Gamer: &#8220;Welcome to the Jungle.&#8221;  I don&#8217;t mind using packaged modules, and this one was interesting enough, once I got through the lack of background info&#8230;  there was a LOT of that missing.<br \/>\nI&#8217;ve been twisting these pregens around to make them fit, and it&#8217;s worked out so far &#8212; WTTJ is basically babysitting a diplomat, whom I&#8217;ve made an old friend of the Senator, and I&#8217;ll be doing something similar with Kashyyk in Flames after this one.<br \/>\nStill, the first session we played of WttJ was a mess, simply because I hadn&#8217;t prepped it well enough, and it required more work than most.  Second session (two weeks after this post), explained more and concluded the story to my satisfaction.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Game tonight. I got Nothing.
