Blank Character Sheet

The Cluster

  • Keepdown -- Swampy, storm-wracked world, settled by scientist/colonists
  • Trinculo -- wealthy, bored, amoral thrill-seekers, and the religious zealots who despise them
  • Caliban -- Privateers lords and savvy spacers who have gutted their system's resources to stay on top.
  • Dauphine -- Turned their back on space after they made their try for the stars and failed. Caliban privateer feeding ground.
  • Shylock -- Meddlers, traders, and annoyingly self-sufficient. A system rich in habitable worlds and resources.
  • Lear -- Once mighty, Lear's surface is now uninhabitable. Crude, steam-driven societies live in the bowels of pre-collapse cities, kept breathing my machines they no longer understand, chained to the world by a disease they can't control.
  • Achilles -- Like Lear, the scientists of Achilles strove too high, and the fall was costly. Now, those same scientists work to help the human settlements survive the incursions of sentient, hungry plantlife they helped create.
  • Orpheus -- An idealistic system that treasures its independence and harbors a collective dream of Earth: either rediscovered or recreated.
  • Cluster Maps

Factions

  • Caliban Cruise Consortium (C3)-- One of the larger Caliban "shipping concerns" that sells ships to new captains under an indenture system requiring a significant share of the profits for many years, with HUGE reductions to said costs if the captain targets certain 'foreign parties'. (Privateers operating with Letters of Marque).
  • The Chain -- slavers, operating out of the asteroid and scrap belts of the Cluster
  • The Ladder -- privately-funded Orphean research group
  • Lafite Shipping -- A Caliban family-business of techs, navigators, pilots, privateers, and businessmen. They control both of the slippoint stations in Caliban.
  • Lolonais Mining Coalition -- strong arm brutes funded by Caliban interests, mining/raiding for resources in other systems (often, Dauphine)
  • Society Of Zaras -- aristocratic tech-conspiracy (a la the Hellfire Club) on Dauphine
  • White Wind - Ascetic religious fundamentalists from Trinculo

Planets & Places

  • Nadira -- "tourist" planet in Shylock's system
  • Sebastas -- icy, distant captured-comet moon of Dauphine
  • Tethys -- Orphean water world and pharmaceutical resource
  • Unity Orbital Station -- One of dozens of stations occupying Orpheus’s orbital space.
