Those sworn to protect the inhabitants of the city in whatever way necessary. On the northern side of the City, the commanding contingent is the Ducal Guard, while on the south bank, the Tower Guard holds sway. Both factions contest the jurisdiction of Citadel Island; an activity further complicated by the waking presence of The Citadel Guard.
