Background: A Vajaari holy warrior disenchanted with Z'taar after a village massacre makes him doubt whether the relion is really as honorable as it should be, tells his priestess confidant of his doubts (for her part, she thinks that he's misinterpreting his strong intuitions). Subseqenty he flees north out of his desert outpost, persued by those still devoted to the dark god and a sense of impending death, looking for a safe-haven at which to some day atone.
