Description: Adapted for survival on the arid Rhiani plains, and the adjacent sand sea desert, Rhiani possess some notable differences from most humans. For one, they have a nictating eyelid that protects the eye from dust and sand. Their respritory apparatus is also somewhat different from that of other humans. They tan well, with no ill effects.

Otherwise, Rhiani typically appear as rugged humans, somewhat bronze-skinned, even when they don't spend all day in the sun. They universally have dark hair, and their eyes tend to the lighter colors (though a few are violet).

Some people say that Rhiani are born knowing how to ride horses, but this is, in fact, cultural.
