Lands of the

Abāragān -- Patriarchal Kingdom of a notably long-lived people - similar to Tolkien's Gondor during the Lord of the Rings
Aramyst -- Monarchy. It's people are very staunch Goddess worshippers. Their Queen (Daelyn) is married to Gerard's son, Lysander. Currently at war with neighboring Ys (under the control of the sorcerer known as the Baron). Aramyst is part of, but distinct from, Arden; and lies about one and a half days from Kolvir by horse.
Argham -- One of the oldest Golden Circle kingdoms, known for rocky coasts and old, heavily-forested mountain ranges. Image by Ted Nasmith
Image by Rob Alexander Blassante -- Rich, open farmlands nestled into the 'south' side of Arden, reminiscent of the agricultural areas of France. Their primary claim to fame is being the site of numerous battles over the years.
Image by Mark Poole Durien -- Flat, wide watershed to which the enormous Durien river is central. Well known for extensive export of grains and other 'bread basket' produce to other Golden Circle kingdoms.
Eregnor -- Heavily forested lands part of, but distinct from Arden. Home to two hostile kingdoms (Kashfa and Begma) that normally occupy their Shadow with land wars. Eregnor is notable in that more than one kingdom in the Shadow has an GC treaty with Amber.
Haet -- One of the oldest and actually less-advanced members of the GC Treaty. The Shadows inhabitants are somewhat barbaric. (Note: Societies are somewhat reminiscent of the novels of Robert E. Howard.)
Ilbrizar -- Desert lands on the outskirts of the GC.
Kand -- Another desert land with long stretches of Berber-like coastlands.
Image by Douglas Chaffee Logelzk -- Logelzk is not a Treaty kingdom - the Shadow is dominated by low-browed, simian-like humanoids that are something of a cyclic perennial blight on the GC alliance. However, like rats or cockroaches, these warlike creatures have been impossible to eradicate.
Mannawnraws (MAN-naun-raws) -- landscapes reminiscent of the mountains and coasts of Ireland.
Medienne -- A Shadow dotted with walled cities, and many dangerous indigenous phenomena. The rulers of the Shadow rarely ask for help from Amber, preferring to fight their own fights.
Image by Angelo Montanini Meira -- Small seaside Shadow ruled by a nominated alliance of merchants and sea captains.
Image by Rob Alexander Ormeno -- Home to a loud, pleasant people - short of statue, dark of hair and akin, and given to spicy food and much jesting.
Image by Rob Alexander Prant -- Cold-climate seaport, frozen in about 45% of the time.
Rendisé -- Rocky coasts, good vineyards, active sea traders.
Skerry -- A loose confederation of islands about a day's sail due west from Cabra. Well-regarded shadow-mages and conjurers.
Verinau -- Shadow of a short-statured people with somewhat exaggerated facial features, to whom shipbuilding and other applications of mathematics are nigh on a religion. Verinau is also the home Shadow of the Vari, who appear to be a long-lost branch of Eldar. Both the Verinese and Vari have been involved in the design and construction of the new Amber Pattern Navy.
Ys -- Neighboring kingdom to Aramyst, Ys is a very old non-Treaty Shadow currently under the control of the Baron, from which he stages sea and land raids.
