Collections of spells, physically composed of one or more volumes, all of which use the same notations and codes. Grimoires are usually focused on one type of spell: aiding friends, healing, combat, et cetera.

Grimoires are more than simple a Formulary or book -- they are mystically connected to a Grimoire-creator's node on the Saint Plane.

Any adept with the correct "Use [Grimoire]" skill can cast any of the Grimoire's spells directly from the books (which unfortunately aren't very portable at all), or he can create Talismans for specific spells in the Grimoire, which allow him to cast the spell from the Talisman at will.
