Trump Tricks are essentially a kind of Common Magic when expressed in the Heroquest system. Usually this is simply taken as a keyword and used as a passive augment on a skill like "Trump User" (which might likewise be augmented by a good trump deck). However, some folks (Caine springs to mind... from the shadows... with a knife) might actually have Concentrated this magic in order to use them as Active abilities (the payoff being the lovely default resistance of 14).
Trump Artists automatically get this Common Magic keyword, and are assumed to be Concentrated with one HP.

Entry Requirements:

Trump User at 17 (possibly part of a few cultural keywords), but can be picked up by most anyone as a 'freebie' at 13, then raised.

Typically, the Amber Royal or [Chaosite] keyword, but not a requirement (see above), in short, it isn't mandatory, provided there's some other viable explanation.

- Trump 'slip' (slipping through the trump connection before the connection is 'strong' enough for most)
HARDER TRUMP TRICKS (either due to resistance or flat difficulty of the task)
- Trump Blackout (used to resist Caller ID)
- Trump Jamming (making your card, or another's, not work; resisted)
- Trump Spying
- Opening a Trump Gate (sending many people through a trump connection; higher resistances)
