Many Homeland Keyword descriptions include default types of worship (Theistic, Animistic, et cetera) followed by the general populace of the land; it is this simply part of the Homeland Keyword to be a basic lay-member of the default faith, at the same level as the Homeland Keyword.
In the case of Theism and Wizardry, this equates to the following abilities for the lay-worshiper.
- Magic -- the worshiper gains little magic as a result of being part of the religion, aside from the arguable benefits of Piety, or the group Blessings available at certain times of the year to the faithful.
- Mundane Relationships -- the worshiper gains several Relationships at the same rank as the keyword:
- Member of [Temple], Follower of [Faith]
- Myths and Rituals -- the worshiper gains knowledge of the Myths and Rituals of the faith:
- Know Myths of [Faith] (Theism), Know Doctrine of [Faith] (Wizardry)
- Piety -- the worshiper can use the rating in this ability to try to call for divine aid from their diety.
- Worship [Pantheon or God], Follower of [Spirit/Practice], et cetera.
- Virtues -- the worshiper can select any of the traits seen as 'good' or commonly found within their faith.
