The Silent King
The ancestral founder of the Pale Men is called the Silent King among his ordinary followers. His worship is theistic in style (his is a sub-cult of the Earth Goddess), and provides a single magical affinity.
The Hidden One's skills in agility and deceit were remarkable, and he is reputed to have earned a good living for many years as a kwaku in the sunlight tribes (the Pale Men's name for the Nubari). A line was crossed, and the tribal fathers sentenced him to die, whereupon he fled to the lands below.
