Taboo Spirits are spirits similar to Nature Spirits, but only exist to guard Taboo Lands. Lesser Taboo Spirits will warn away any hero whose people regard an area as Taboo. Taboo Practice Spirits will try to prevent a Hero from entering a Taboo area altogether. Majestic Taboo Spirits seek to guard the holiest of a tribes places.

A Lesser Taboo Spirit appears as a small sexless human-oid. Greater and Mighty Taboo Spirits usually appear as the same species as the Hero trying to enter the Taboo lands, but dressed in ceremonial outfit. They can, how-ever, choose to appear in any dangerous animal form they think will chase away intruders.
