Introduction: Members of the Zantira tribe live on Sleepy Lake, far downstream from the Huroola. The Zantira, or “Raft Dwellers”, fashion their floating homes from bamboo, grasses, reeds and other available material. The Zantira believe that so long as they live upon the water they will be protected from the water spirits and worship Jung’r’na, which is their name for the water elemental noble Nigella.
