Gwen has every reason to hate the Power of Electricty... whomever that might be. Born of a woman of the Chancel, Gwen is the result of 'relations' (some would say rape) that a former Power of Electricity had with a woman of Storyville. Gwen was born with uncontrollable electrical powers that are largely uncontrolable. Within the chancel, the natural magicks of the place means that she usually won't kill someone she touches outright, but on Earth... it's not so easy.

Despite this, Gwen found herself unable to dislike the new power of Electricity, Ambrose Donner, and became his anchor not long after he first arrived at the chancel. (He liked that she was so comfortable with his Estate, and she liked that she is much more in control of her own power since she met him.)

Gwen is consummate sneak-thief and burgler -- particularly adept with electronic security devices.
