This is the Nobilis Timeline, the sequence of events as seen from Heaven or the Spirit World. The Prosaic Earth has a less orderly chronology.
Prehistory
The First Age of the World

| 403 C.T. | Angels discover Hell. Lucifer orders it sealed. |
| 681 C.T. | The last of the Old Gods is born. |
| 743 C.T. | The first Aarons Serpents are born. Dinosaurs roam the Earth. |
| 792 C.T. | The Old Gods reach a truce and start eating New Gods. |
| 802 .C.T | The High Court in Heaven temporarily exiles Zaafiel to Earth; he destroys the dinosaurs. Mythic Earth splits into Prosaic Earth and the Mythic World. |
| 851 C.T. | The first Phoenix, Phoensa, and Corruna are born from a mating between an Old Gold and an Aboulomri. |
| 960 C.T. | The first Dionyl are born. |
| 961 C.T. | The Garden of Eden gives birth to Adam and Eve. |
| 965 C.T. | The Curetes begin sheltering the New Gods. |
| 975 C.T. | Lucifer begins preaching the philosophy of Hell. |
| 981 C.T. | Hell poisons the Aaron's Serpent Manaechus. |
| 989 C.T. | The War in Heaven begins. |
| 992 C.T. | The New and Old Gods war in the Spirit World. |
| 999 C.T. | Lucifer and 69 other Angels fall. Manaechus comes to the Garden of Eden. Eve eats of the apple, creating the Light. Adam eats of the apple, creating the Dark. Adam and Eve leave Eden. The first Magister of the Dark claims Eden as a Chancel and remakes it into the Sable Gardens. The New Gods defeat the Old Gods. |

0 A.F. | The Phoenix family dies and is reborn. Heaven renumbers its years, using A.F. for "After the Fall". |
The Second Age of the World
| 1 A.F. | Adam and Eve have their first child. |
| 78 A.F. | Adam and Eve forbid incest. |
| 109 A.F. | The first marriage of human and beast takes place; the dilution of humanity's miraculous nature begins. |
| 385 A.F. | Heaven drives excess fallen Angels back into Hell from the worlds of the Ash. |
| 408 A.F. | The last "miraculous" human dies. All remaining humans are of beast stock. (On the positive side, they're now all over the world.) |
| 710 A.F. | The Light Imperator Noë starts bringing food animals into the Spirit World. |
| 990 A.F. | The Dark stands on the verge of destroying the human food supply. |
| 999 A.F. | The Light unleashes Satyavrata, demon of the Deluge. Samiasa brings Aholibamah to Aelfscienne; their children will become the Ljos-Alfar. |
| 1000 A.F. | Lucifer binds Satyavrata and the other Deluges as Anchors, for unknown reasons. The flood ends. |
| 1018 A.F. | Nightmare assaults the Angel of the Sun; the birth of their child Arikel heralds the beginning of Night. |
| 1045 A.F. | The first Wildlords arrive on Earth. |
| 1624 A.F. | The Edicts Of Tal remove excess Fallen from the worlds of the Ash. |
| 1999 A.F. | The Excrucians assault Heaven. Atrocity kills Heaven's gatekeeper, but Heaven repels the assault. The Imperatrix Attaris reveals herself as Magister of the Wild Attaris Ebrôt Appêka. The fallen Angel Ebrôt Appêka turns to dust. Vyasa writes the Sutra of Questions. |

| 3000 A.F. | The Buddha is born in the Most Ancient Lord's Chancel; Angels cannot verify or deny his attainment of Nirvana. |

1680 A.P. | Heaven renumbers its years, using A.P. for "Age of Pain". |
| 2020 A.P. | Angoulaffre the Broken-Toothed creates the first Tempest. |
| 3000 A.P. | Christ is born; Angels cannot verify or deny his divinity. |
| 3998 A.P. | Lord Entropy and the Council Of Four take control of the mortal and Noble Earths. |
| 4320 A.P. | Parasiel tries to erase the records of Heaven and is exiled to Earth. |
