Medan, Dark Lord of Arrows, Responsibility, Media and Oranges, Lord of the Locust Court and Imperator of the Locust Garden

Medan is an "ancient" darklord. He rose out of the Middle East, in the land called Media. It was the most powerful land on Earth for a time, particulalry when it was ruled by the son of the sorceress Medea, who took her name from him.

Medan thinks humans are basically a failed experiment, and they should all be killed off again except for a new seed stock of two. He claims to have risen from the world when the imperators killed off the men of silver, and replaced them with the men of clay, but other imperators insist that they never did this, and that the idea that they did is just silly. The Light are particularly offended by the idea that in addition to the clay-light (or corn-light, to the Aztecs), there were previous gold/silver/wood Lights. Medan will be Light next time, when humans are made from shadows and citrus blossom.

Medan (and thus his court) can tell you what is legal but not, in the Celestial sense, what accords with the Spiritus Dei.
