The Ranged Ability serves to modify the effects of another ability.

If you like, expand that ability to cover all the 'secondary' effects of another ability, such as range, duration, area of effect, et cetera. Whenever you want a demon with an extended ability, take a second modifying ability (Ranged, or call it something else) to cover it. 'Ranged' in time rather than space, if you will.

Bottom line, in Sorcerer, nothing is ever instantaneous, eternal or infinite. If the notion of time and space becomes relevant to the conflict at hand than these factors are limited by a Demon's Power. [1]
