"Lights out" means "Shut the fuck up." -- Last words to Prisoner J1X5003-Primrose
Nahistrallia is the Judgment World of Anthurian Azurus. It is here that criminals are tried and imprisoned for crimes against Creation. The worst of the worst find their way here and are kept under draconian confinement, for these marauders of reality cannot be killed as they surely deserve. The world itself hangs from a small branch off of the World Ash and is surrounded by a fiery green nimbus similiar in almost every respect to the Weirding Wall which surrounds creation. The wall is unbroken, save around the stem and it is here that the infamous "Iron Collar" guards against escape or assult. Within the Collar are the various courtrooms, offices, holding cells, and living quarters that allow for the Serpent Lord's organization to function. Once suspects have been found guilty, they are escorted out of the Collar and down into the Cells. http://story.ebbs.net/anniv/cubebw720.gif(approve sites) (Right: Rotational view of Cell Block Snake's Foot) The world of Nahistrallia is mostly comprised of cyclopean blocks of some unknown stone (which appears to have some sort of innate Auctoritas). One of Azurus's Powers will cause a block to melt, the convict will be embedded within it, and the block will be reformed into a neat, hard cube. The cube will be etched with all pertinent details and then slotted according to some arcane organizational plan. Despite this suffocating imprisonment, there are a number of beings which will test or regularly breach confinement. Since the coming of the Excrucians, this has only gotten worse and Azurus has been forced to extend more of his will into the guardian inhabitants of Nahistrallia. This has resulted in a marked decrease in his activities on the Ash. His agents are reduced in number and Azurus will often request the aid of local rulers such as Lord Entropy. Luckily, Azurus's sense of Justice remains keen and trumped up charges will be quickly dismissed. But there is no doubt his ability to detect and pursue criminals has been seriously compromised. Nahistrallia is believed to hold monsters from every Age, including future ones. It is rumored that both Satyavrata and the Light lord who loosed it are both being held there. When the Lorists rebuilt Hallow The Eater, it was finally imprisoned here. Semyaza, Fallen Angel and instigator of the Unknown Benefactors is kept here as is Urnon, terror of the Fifth Age. It's widely rumored that Lord Entropy himself, through some bizarre time loop rests within a block even as he moves over the face of the Earth. Nahistrallia also possesses the largest concentration of Mimics in creation. While they could be destroyed, Azurus will always opt to imprison one and will happily intercede to help capture and transport one when detected. Because they can't be Nettled when imprisoned, few Powers take advantage of Azurus's help. It's not clear why he makes this exception unless he hopes to resurrect the mimiced Estate someday. In any event, most Powers will never see the inside of Nahistrallia and they should all be thankful for that. Considering the nature of the evil contained within, all Imperators and Powers will move to protect and preserve the world should it come under attack from within or without. Strangely, Excrucians have never, to the best of our knowledge, directly assualted the prison despite the untold chaos that would result if its charges got loose.
