Chenard is a malicious Ammenite sorcerer who seeks to master the terrifying power of the Zu language. Originally a torturer of runaway Zaru slaves, he acquired his first Word of Power by burning a priest alive, and this acquisition has made him obsessed with magic.
His skills in anatomy, herbalism and witchcraft made him a peerless healer sought out by Ammenite aristocrats, and their wealthiness trickled down to him. He is now rich enough to indulge his fiendish whims and savors any chance to humiliate others.
This version of Chenard is intended as a major villain. If used as a protagonist, double each pool.
