Young Emil Klinger’s first job was as a night janitor at one of Paragon City’s many laboratories. While on a break, he decided that he needed some dip for his Funyuns. Conveniently, there was a refrigerator in the room he had just finished cleaning. Had he not dropped out of high school, Emil might have recognized the biohazard symbol on the unit. As it was, he dipped the zesty onion-flavored snack rings into every sample in the refrigerator, trying to decide what tasted best. The next day, he was reprimanded for leaving crumbs on the floor. Angry, he shouted at his boss, only to see a cloud of gas spew forth from his mouth and envelop the man, leaving him choking and gasping, unable to move. Emil continues to explore and expand the powers of his onion breath as… Captain Funyun!
