Dolly Deborah Madison was a mean kid growing up in the streets of Baltimore. Born of an African-American father and a Caucasian mother, she felt as if she had two sides to her existence. She learned to craft a hard, dark exterior to protect her from the world but secretly harbored a soft, sweet center. Little Debbie grew up feeling trapped, playing dominoes and hopscotch on chalk boards on asphalt.

Meanwhile, a Warshade named Na'Bhiskoh sought his own release from his evil past. He had lived an evil life but had never really fully exorcised the streak of goodness in him. He entered the merger program and found Madison.

Now, Dolly Madison and Na'Biskoh have joined up...both showing a rigid, black outer shell to the world but providing glimpses of the wonderful goodness inside to all who can see between the twin shells of darkness.
