One of the more frustrating things folks run into when doing long conversations ICly, with even a pair of folks, and especially with any kind of larger group, is typing up an amazing little bit of dialogue, only to find that, while you were getting everything just right, the other folks have typed fifteen things and the conversation has moved from tantric physics to geese juggling.

So... here's a bind that I've found is VERY useful for letting people know that you are, in fact, typing up something brilliant to unleash on the waiting world, and not just standing there.

/bind ; "afk Typing...$$startchat"

What's it do?

Well, instead of hitting enter to start your chat window up (though that still works), you hit your ; key, and the game will put a "Typing..." message over your head, and open up your chat window all by itself.

Once you finish typing and send it... the message goes away. That's it.

Make use of it if you like -- I personally have found it really invaluable for long talks and group events.
