Ahh, Coercion -- the one skill in DA:O that you really couldn't do without. Curiously absent from the DA-RPG. This is a much simpler talent, modeled after similar talents already available in the game.

COERCION TALENT
You are adept at getting people to do what you want.

Classes: Any.
Requirement: You must have a Communication of 2 or higher.

Novice: It's amazing what the threat of a little violence can do to hurry a negotiation along. If you fail a Strength(Intimidation) test, you can re-roll it, but you must keep the results of the second roll.

Journeyman: Let soldiers, guards, kings, and other thugs use brute force and fear to get what they want. Your methods are more subtle and more satisfying. Pick one activity from this list: Animal Handling, Bargaining, Deception, Investigation, Leadership, Performance, Persuasion, Seduction. If you fail a Communication test in your chosen area, you can re-roll it, but you must keep the results of the second roll.

Expert, Master levels?
We haven't seen higher tiers of any of the Talents thus far, but I think that four tiers in each is a fairly safe bet, given the DA:O Structure of skills and such. In that case, Coercion would simply "expand" by allowing the player to add one more "reroll skill" to their list with every tier -- maybe two -- it depends on how Green Ronin scales the later tiers.

Example: Someone with the 4th (master) tier in Coercion might be able to re-roll bad results for Strength(Intimidation), and also Communication(Persuasion, Investigation, Seduction). Quite a private eye, that one.
