Girruism is the worship of the Sun God Girru.

Girru is also known as the Everburning Flame, reflecting the stories that are told of his gift of Fire to the intelligent peoples of the world, and the Pure Source, indicating his followers belief that he embodies the purity of purpose and goodness that all should aspire to.

Girriuvian temples are always lit by naked flames, including one central and holy flame in the form of a bonfire. The size and heat of the bonfire indicates the status of the temple, and various oils and powders are added at holy times to celebrate festivals and important events in the life of the Church.

The easiest and simplest way to join Girruism is to declare yourself a worshipper and attend the Church one evening. More complicated rituals, including sacred burning and a secretive rite known as The Purification of the Soul are required if you wish to go further into the Church.

The simplest way to feel the wrath of the Temple is to attempt to put out the central fire. A Girruvian Cleric has been known to spend months, if not years, tracking down the instigator of such an act.
