The Aslan (Turkish term given to the species by the humans who first contacted them due to their similarity to lions) are a Major race more properly called the Fteirle. The race bases it's social structure off of it's male members, despite the fact that they do not seem to be as intelligent in most ways as the females. Indeed the males have a drive to control land that borders on the purely instinctual. As such, males are really only good as warriors and as politicos, while the females of the species perform all other functions.

The Aslan are possessed of a dewclaw as natural weaponry. Works like the Vargr natural weaponry secret, which works like the goblin one.

Secret of the Warrior

Aslan are otherwise built well to win physical combats, as well as being instinctual combatants. They gain one die in any conflict.

Key of Land

Most Aslan are persuing land in one way or another, even if it looks like they're after something else. Gain 1 EX for gaining something that is a step towards gaining land. Gain 2 EX for making a risky move to get land. Gain 5 EX for aquiring a substantial chunk of desirable land. Buyoff: Give up on an opportunity to persue getting land.

(Note that these all seem to apply very much to the male side, but as extensions of the males, societally, female Aslan could have them. I'm often not sure where the species notes should end, and the cultural notes should start. So...)
