The Darrian Confederation is a union of worlds controlled by racial and ethinic Darrians. They are allies of the Imperium, and are known for their exceedingly high level of technology.

Secret of High Tech

Though probably not really capable of producing a lot of high tech items beyond the ability of Imperial worlds, the Darrians have always hovered around the ability to do so, and one can frequently find examples of their handiwork at this level of technology if one looks hard enough (don't even ask about the Star Trigger). Unsurprisingly, Darrians tend not to allow this technology to get into the hands of non-Darrians. This secret allows the character to obtain tech level 16 equipment (though generally the secret of imbuement or similar rule must be purchased to obtain the specific abilities indicated).

Key of Stoic Aloofness

The Darrians are not really snobby, but they are stoic to the point where they tend to remove themselves from the trials and tribulations of other races. Gain 1 EX if the character ignores somebody else's problem. Gain 2 EX if the character refuses to deal with somebody else's problem, even when asked nicely. Gain 5 EX if the character allows something bad to happen to something he cares for, simply to show how aloof he is. Buyoff: the character must show that he really does care about somebody else's emotional state.
