Secret of Anagathics

The character has a source of anagathics, which prevent the effects of age. Note that imperial society frowns on nobles using anagathics.

Secret of the Secrets of the Ancients

The character is aware of the secrets of the Ancients (things like that they're still around).

Secret of Extrality

This is a Traveller term that refers to the fact that starports usually have extra-territorality from the worlds on which they can be found, given that they are usually Imperial assets. The character with this secret has no official identity on any system, and exists only as a ghost in the imperial databases, which have hardly any information on the character, and nothing on his homeworld of origin. C.F. Sinless in Shadowrun, or Zeroed in GURPS.

Secret of the Megacorp

The character is an important employee of, or is otherwise associated with a megacorp, such that they can bring to bear some of the mighty resources of such an organization on whatever problems they encounter. The player should select the megacorporation with which the character is associated. If the character makes a roll to convince his superiors of the need (a preliminary roll), he may add up to 4 Know How dice for use in any contests dealing with the problem in question.

Secret of Robotic Body

The character is, secretly, an intelligent robot (possibly even pseudo-biological). These are rare, as there are prejudices against them from the outcome of the Shudusham Concords (http://traveller.wikia.com/wiki/Shudusham_Concords(approve sites)), and also, simply, because they are new and expensive. A character who is a robot of this sort has the advantage that damage to it may be repaired relatively quickly, assuming parts and tools are on hand. Maybe more importantly, with regular maintainence they do not suffer any effects of aging. Many other secrets can be purchased for such a character, using the robotic body as the explanation - but these must be purchased separately, and reflect features of the model in question.
