Hiver culture seems to be all about an expression of the natural curiosity of the hivers, a tendency for hivers to try to alter social dynamics in groups. This phenomenon is referred to as Manipulation.

Once in a social situation, or in contact with one, many hivers simply cannot help themselves but must try to alter the dynamics in some fashion. Gain 1 EX if the Hiver manages to change somebody's mind in a way that fits his intended manipulation. Gain 2EX if the hiver starts up some sort of behavior in a group that is part of his manipulation plan. Gain 5 EX if the hiver manages to have pulled off a full manipulation of a group - something about it's entire dynamic is permanently and substantialy changed. Buyoff: Reject an opportunity to effect a manipulation.
