A traveling scholar and vintner, Argus believes that the best local information is found in the pubs across the land.

He has gathered his fair share of information from said places, usually spending a fortnight in each place gathering his information, and enough honey to pay for his stay with his heady brew.

For a while he edited a popular town crier publication "The Daily Shiny-Surface", and then "The Hot-Orb-in-the-Sky", but has retired to a life of scholarship among colleagues of more admirable intellect.
