Mmmm... moldy...

Essence is a 60 proof (or more) wine made from prickly pears and distilled in Zombey skulls. The amount and type of dirt within the skull gives the various varieties of Essence their unique flavors. Most consider Zombey skulls from the Xtant Mountains to produce the most full-bodied (or should that be full-headed?) flavors and so these skulls claim top dollars, but only if the rest of the Zombey isn't included.
