The Lost Language appears identical to the modern-day Common Tongue, save that the definitions and grammar (and possibly, though there are no Lost Linguists to confirm this, the pronunciation) is completely different. As an example, it is believed by scholars that the preceding sentence is, in the Lost Language, an extremely racy sonnet, though they disagree vehemently as to which parts are the raciest.
