Baranthalo suffered from irregular narcolepsy, in which he also suffered sudden fits of waking during his regular sleep periods. Unlike most elves, he only reached four feet in height, was excessively hairy, and possessed a mass equal to a common rockboar. Despite his apparent similarity to most of the dwarvish race, he retained the mellifluous tone of the Midtown Elves throughout his career.
