Positron TF, Cavern of Transcendance Trial, and (most recently) a night of kicking the asses of a number of the Praetorian Arch-Villains. Most of those three things took place with a number of the same participants.
It’s been a good week. 🙂

Knight Errant! You BASTARD! 🙂
One of the unforeseen benefits of grouping with Noelle — knowing when to fire off “/c Evening.” in the middle of the mission.
I mean, I never have Coalition open when I’m in a mission or in an RP scene, and he’s almost always either one or the other, so… very quiet on CChat.
I just waited to see Noelle’s speech bubble show up with something that didn’t appear in Team or Local, and fired off a /c message. 🙂
I got two “my you’re talkative tonight” tells during the evening. 🙂 Funny.
/c Evning?
/c Message?
Que Pasa?
Glad to help in your social efforts!!
And yes, Dude, we’re all very jealous of your Knight Errant. I mean, you’re not even a Storm Knight! I need that badge!!
Ahh…well…
Since I seem to be an almost Knight (I spend as much if not more in the company of the Knight’s the the Phalanxers) I’ll have to pop that one on tonight…just for taunty goodness if for no other reason. 🙂
I need everything on both those lists except devilfish! I still miss out on almost all the good stuff. 🙁
On the brighter side, Kessa invited me to team with her (and Puck) for the first time ever! (I didn’t even know she was a Blaster!) Not only did it give me the opportunity to exhibit some sly humor, but I got to help take down one of the very few AVs I’ve encountered.
And Positron’s scheduled for Sunday… 🙂
/c is the command to send a message to Coalition, BD.
/c – coalition
/g – group (ie: team)
/l – local
/sg – supergoup
See… if don’t want to CONSTANTLY MISTELL, you leave your channel set to team, and just use / commands to talk on the other channels.
… which is why I hate global channels with a passion — you have to change the default to that channel, which means I miscomm to Phalanx Officers a lot.
Yes…I knew that /c was coalition. I have to tell new recruits that at the end of the interviews.
“((Now before you run off, type “/c Coalition” and your life will be much easier))”
My mistells tend to be because I want it to be the channel I am talking in…and it is not. I tend to do a good job of switching.
I just was curious…Evening and Message must be channels I am not on *sigh*
I almaost never Mistell in Officers because It is an effort to get there, and so I tend to remember that I am in it and switch back before typing.
You’re not understanding me.
/c ((message)) = sends ((message)) to coalition.
/sg ((message)) = sends ((message)) to the SG.
/l ((message)) = sends ((message)) to Local.
/g ((message)) = sends ((message)) to the group (team).
“/c Coaltion” doesn’t do anything but say “Coalition” on the Coalition channel…
… which explains why all your recruits do that.
In other words, typing “/c Evening.” causes me to say “Evening.” on the coalition channel.
Ahh…Yes…confusion clear now.
You are being far more complicated then I need to be.
But, then everything you do during the day is typing and coding, where as 90% of what I do is GUI interface and 10% typing/coding. Which is also why you use all the keys for power selections and the mouse for steering, and I am the complete opposite.
If it’s any consolation, boys, that last message of yours had my head spinning. Coding and interface and GUI, oh my!
I just talk about books.
Oh, but you are the folks to go to with my computer question, so check my blog in a bit if you have a chance, ok? Thanks.
I’m in the same boat. This button does the thing I need it to do? Thanks. *pushes button*
Coding and GUI. Blecch, I say!
When I worked, I typed. And printed. And flow-charted. And flow-charted. And flow-charted.
