Kate picked up Shadows Over Camelot for me this week, which is a game I’ve desperately wanted every since I read this thread on Story Games, over two and a half years ago.
I’m (not so) secretly hoping I can finagle a way to play this a couple times this weekend.
I enjoy Shadows, but don’t play it often enough. I hope you have a fun time!
For the first game, leave out the traitor– bringing it in ups the awesome, but the added doubt really makes the rules learning/collaboration difficult. I know this because we dealt out the cards our second game and were paralyzed with suspicion. When we finally lost, people turned up their cards… and no one was the traitor. But we’d all had at least two people on our suspicious list (and different people made each person’s list)…
